In this episode of The Injured Athletes Club podcast Cindy got to catch up with pro runner Kailtlin Goodman while they were both out at the 2019 Boston Marathon and talk to her about how she went from training for the TCS New York City Marathon in the best shape of her life, to an unexpected injury with a slow recovery.

Cindy and Kaitlin talk about dealing with the anger she felt around the circumstances of her injury, the loss of identity that she felt, how she handled watching the competition she was supposed to be in, and the emotional highs and lows she had to navigate through out her recovery.
